NATIONAL SEMINAR ON “EXPORT AND IMPORT CONTROL ON OZONE DEPLETING SUBSTANCES” WAS SUCCESSFULLY HELD

The national seminar on “Implementation of Montreal protocol and Export and import control on ozone depleting substances” was co-organized by Customs General Administration and National office of Ozone of Ministry of Environment, Green development and Tourism for officials working in the area of customs and environment control on 14-15 June, 2017 at Ulaanbaatar city Customs. Total of 40 officers from Customs General Administration, Ulaanbaatar city Customs, Buyant-Ukhaa Customs and International Postal Customs and 10 officers from General Administration of Specialized Inspection have actively participated in the seminar.

Professor Adyasuren /Director, National office of Ozone, Ministry of Environment, Green development and Tourism/ gave opening speech and Mr.Tseyenregzen.O /Director, Public Administration and Management Department, MCGA/ gave speech on importance of implementing Montreal protocol and export and import control.

Ms. Liazzat Rabbiosi, the United Nations Environment Programme gave information on the The Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol and customs role in climate change. Certificates were handed to the participants who have actively took part in the seminar.
