The Seminar was attended by the representatives from customs administrations of Mongolia, China and Russia, train operators, China Post and business entities. Leaders of the three customs administrations and Heilongjiang province gave opening speeches. Mr.Bat-Erdene.Yo, Deputy Director mentioned the importance of “Trilateral agreement between the General Authority for Customs and Taxation of Mongolia, Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation and the Customs General Administration of the People’s Republic of China on the Mutual recognition of the customs control on certain commodities” in improving trade circulation, increasing the competitiveness of products, widening the economic cooperation by facilitating the flow of goods and vehicles crossing the border and promoting the economic corridor.

NATIONAL SEMINAR ON “EXPORT AND IMPORT CONTROL ON OZONE DEPLETING SUBSTANCES” WAS SUCCESSFULLY HELD

The national seminar on “Implementation of Montreal protocol and Export and import control on ozone depleting substances” was co-organized by Customs General Administration and National office of Ozone of Ministry of Environment, Green development and Tourism for officials working in the area of customs and environment control on 14-15 June, 2017 at Ulaanbaatar city Customs. Total of 40 officers from Customs General Administration, Ulaanbaatar city Customs, Buyant-Ukhaa Customs and International Postal Customs and 10 officers from General Administration of Specialized Inspection have actively participated in the seminar.

CUSTOMS OFFICERS WERE GIVEN AWARDS 2017.05.30

Customs General Administration presented awards to the customs officers that worked efficiently. The award ceremony was held on May 31, 2017 at the Ministry of Finance.

DISCUSSION SESSION ON THE DRAFT AMENDMENT OF CUSTOMS LAW

Within the framework of the Government Action Plan of 2016-2020 and the main obligation of the Government to improve the law and regulations, Customs General Administration has drafted the Amendment of Customs Law.

THE NATIONAL DAY OF TREE PLANTING

Following the Decree of the President, “The National Day of Tree Planting” is being organized on the Saturday of second week of May and October every year. Opening ceremony of the event was held on May 13, 2017 at National Park.

Officials of all the units of Customs General Administration have planted 40 trees including various shrubs and bushes. Many government and non-government organizations have also actively participated in this event.

Working group meeting of Information technology experts of Customs administrations of Mongolia and Russia was successfully held on March 29-30, 2017 at Altanbulag-Khiagt International border port. Working group of Mongolia was headed by Mr. Ganzorig.B, Director of Information Technology Center of Customs General Administration of Mongolia /MCGA/.
