Based on an intelligence reported by the Police department, Customs has organized proper customs control. Customs officers at the Zamiin-Uud Customs under the Customs General Administration inspected a luggage belonging to a Mongolian Citizen crossing the Mongolian border on 6 June 2014 around 5 pm through the x-ray equipment and detected a suspicious item.

The luggage was further inspected with the assistance of a sniff dog, which resulted in the detection of 3 clear items in the shape of small ice pebbles, glass smoking pipe, a glass tube, and miniature scale. The customs laboratory in Zamiin-Uud customs analyzed the ice pebbles and determined they were methamphetamine.
