CUSTOMS-BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP 2019

Customs General Administration in collaboration with the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Trade-related Assistance to Mongolia project of the EU held a Customs-Business partnership meeting 2019 under the slogan “Let’s hear our Businesses” on 24 September 2019. The meeting was attended by representatives of the customs branches, state owned companies, representatives of other government agencies, non-governmental organization and over 50 private sector representatives. Opening remarks for the event were made by the Deputy Director General B.Batkhishig, the Director General of the Chamber of Commerce T.Duuren and the TRAM project Coordinator Carmen Fratita. The Director of the Public Administration Management Department of the MCGA Ts.Gendentseveen presented on some of the customs reform iniatives, i.e., “smart gate”, 8 branch customs laboratories, and the reform at the border crossing points. Presentations on the development trend of customs and various trade documents issued by the chamber were presented followed by discussion forum among the participants.
